Many quantum computers use electromagnetic waves for readout. Our technology allows translation between different readout methods without measuring the quantum state. This will facilitate distributed quantum computing regardless of technology used and will enable convenient adaptation to quantum internet standards as they emerge.

 

The quantum internet as a whole has a lack of exact standards, and some photonic protocols are more stable,while others are easier to manipulate. Our technology allows both to exist alongside each other and come in line with standards and best practices as they are created.
